In this podcast we'll broadcast some kirtans from Oxford, UK. Kirtan is an ancient form of musical meditation where a simple but sublime chant is repeated over and over again, supported by musical instruments. We do it the traditional way, the call-and-response style, where the participants follow the melodic variances and moods of the lead chanter. The recordings are not perfect, but we hope you'll enjoy the sweetness of them anyway.
