dotBoom is a web-based puppet show about dotBoom, a website development firm in Toronto, Ontario. dotBoom the show is all laughs and honey because the company isn't: that it's successful is in spite of the inept management team, not because of it. dotBoom is, for the most part, about the creative department, whose members are smart, talented, and want to go home.
dotBoom is a foul-mouthed sitcom of the workplace type. Each episode is about 30 minutes long, and there are no commercials, because dotBoom hates advertisements.
We are aware that we're in advertising. We hate ourselves, too.
But dotBoom will love you, if you watch.

A city-wide power outage leaves the team stranded on the way to work. Will they find something to pass the time?
This is a quick note to let everyone know that the show has new URLs for the feeds, and we've now got an iPod-capable feed. The new URLs are at http://www.dotboom.ca/subscribe.php.
I'll be keeping this feed alive for a couple more episodes, to make sure no one misses anything, but after that it will go dark, so subscribe to the new feeds soon!
Sit agog in the face of a completely different, and somewhat longer, version of episode 4. Cringe at the sight of puppet-on-puppet violence! Tell your friends!
In the thrilling conclusion to the Assless Chaps saga, Jason searches frantically for something to justify firing Dostoyevsky, Diab exacts his revenge against Sarah and her foul, foul dog, and the Alpha deadline, at last, arrives. But does the client even care?
In this shocking episode, Jason's dark secret is revealed, Diab is locked in a struggle with Sarah and her dog, and the team races to meet a looming project milestone.
Clark and Brian try to agree on a programming methodology for the HyperCrom project, but tempers soon flare, and the fate of the company is threatened.
In this third episode of the show, Diab and Clark are given lots of work and ridiculously tight deadlines to complete it, Newton finds himself in a very awkward situation when presenting to a client, Brian's given a wonderful career opportunity, and Jason wonders why he's being shunned by the office hedonist.
Tempers flare as management asks the team to put in the large amounts of overtime required to get the HyperCrom project done on time. When no over-time pay is offered to compensate, the team threatens a mutiny.
This is the eight in a series of behind-the-scenes videos detailing the creation of dotBoom. In this episode, episode 2 is filmed, and, as a special treat, some out-takes are shown.
n this very special, very first episode of dotBoom, the company lands a large-scale project, Kiki struggles to leave work in time for a date, and Jason, well, he's just struggling to make it through the day.
This is the fifth in a series of behind-the-scenes videos detailing the creation of dotBoom. In this episode, I talk to the camera about the film I just put inside it.
This is the fourth in a series of behind-the-scenes videos detailing the creation of dotBoom. In this episode, I talk to the new camera, and green screen tests are made.
This is the third in a series of behind-the-scenes videos detailing the creation of dotBoom. In this episode, clients share a single mind, Diab's audition footage is revealed, and Brian is still vain.
Here's a look at the opening credits for the show. They turned out pretty well, and convey the tone and humorous cynicism that I'm trying to get across.

This is the second in a series of behind-the-scenes videos detailing the creation of dotBoom. In this episode, dogs bite, sets are painted, and Brian is very, very vain.
